Student Leadership
In line with our vision, we seek to develop every Woodgrovian to be a leader with character — learning to lead self and others. We believe leadership in the service of others and that leadership development is a journey.
This belief is emblazoned on our duty sash Leading by Serving. Helping our Woodgrovians to embrace and live this belief is our Woodgrove Leadership Practices – iSERVE.

Leadership grows with every Woodgrovian — from Leading Self to a Group, a Team, the School, and School/Community.
Our Leadership Development Milestone Programmes
Woodgrove's student leaders pass through a series of milestones across their leadership journey — Camp SPARKLE and Camp SPARKLE+ — alongside twice-yearly Class Committee Training, to build leadership capability at each stage of a Woodgrovian's journey.
Camp SPARKLE (Primary 4)
Student leaders Picking up skills, Applying Resilience and Knowledge as students Lead by Example.
A day camp for all Primary 4 level — not only those already in a leadership role. Every P4 Woodgrovian takes part, discovering early what it means to lead self and class. Through hands-on activities, students build teamwork, resilience and confidence, while strengthening our iGR³ACE values in ways that go beyond the classroom.

Camp SPARKLE+ (Primary 5 Student Councillors and CCA Leaders)
A day camp bringing Primary 5 Student Councillors and P5 CCA Leaders together — a deliberate choice, reflecting that both groups lead at the same level of impact, Leading Team and Leading School, even though their platforms look different. Students build the knowledge and skills to lead teams and the wider school, strengthening iGR³ACE values through real leadership roles and shared experiences with peers they might not otherwise train alongside.

Class Committee Training
Held once each semester, this anchors the very first leadership experience most Woodgrovians have. It builds clarity on role and responsibility — but just as importantly, on the values and character behind the role, so that leadership feels less like a task list and more like an identity students grow into.
