Let's Get R.E.A.L.!
We believe that learning is most meaningful when it is authentic, purposeful and connected to the world around us. Let's Get R.E.A.L.! (Real-world Experiences and Application for Lifelong Learning) is our signature interdisciplinary project-based curriculum that brings this belief to life.
Designed for every Woodgrovian from Primary 1 to Primary 6, Let's Get R.E.A.L.! provides rich opportunities for students to apply knowledge and skills across subjects to dive deeper into authentic issues, understand real-world problems and make meaningful contributions to school and community.
The programme reflects our school vision of "Every Woodgrovian Shines – A Learner. A Contributor. A Leader with Character." As students journey through Let's Get R.E.A.L!, they grow not only as confident learners, but also as compassionate contributors and emerging leaders who are guided by our iGR³ACE values.
Let's Get R.E.A.L! also serves as an important platform for nurturing our students' E21CC. Throughout every project, students develop critical and inventive thinking, communication, collaboration and information skills, while strengthening social-emotional competencies and global awareness. They learn to work effectively with others, communicate their ideas confidently, embrace diverse perspectives and become responsible users of digital technologies in an increasingly connected world.
Learning extends beyond the classroom through authentic tasks, meaningful community engagement and purposeful use of educational technology. Students integrate knowledge from English, Mathematics, Science, Mother Tongue Languages, Social Studies, Art and EdTech to create solutions that address needs. Each project culminates in a product, presentation and Values-in-Action initiative, allowing students to share their learning and contribute positively to their school or wider community.
