What's On @ Woodgrove 2026
Woodgrove Chinese New Year Celebration 2026
Today, Woodgrove welcomed the Year of the Horse with a lively and joyous Chinese New Year celebration.
Prior to the celebrations, students enjoyed Chinese calligraphy fringe activities during recess, where they tried their hand at writing auspicious words of prosperity and good fortune.
On Chinese New Year Eve, Woodgrovians gathered to soak in the festive spirit through a vibrant concert programme that featured a cheerful sing-along, an exhilarating Lion Dance, captivating performances by the Chinese Orchestra and Chinese Dance groups, as well as an entertaining skit by Woodgrove Playhouse that humorously showcased Chinese New Year traditions and customs. The celebrations continued with an interactive quiz and concluded on a high note with a mass dance that brought everyone together in celebration.
National Sports Games 2026 – Woodgrovians in Action
On 27 January 2026, our Woodgrove Primary School students proudly represented
the school at the National School Games Opening Ceremony held at the OCBC
Arena. As they took the Athletes’ Oath, they pledged to compete fairly
and safely, upholding integrity and responsibility, and to face every challenge
with resilience — reflecting the belief that character is strengthened
through sporting excellence.
Our Boys’ and Girls’ Basketball teams, Badminton team, and Football team
have also kicked off their NSG journey with a bang, making us proud as
they demonstrate true heart, grit, and sportsmanship in every game. Keep
striving, Woodgrovians — shine for yourselves and others!

Primary 6 Art Legacy Project
Knots of Kindness is a Primary 6 Art Legacy Project by our 2025 graduating students, created to give a warm welcome to our Primary 1 Woodgrovians. Through learning macramé, our seniors crafted keychains filled with care and loving intention. Each knot symbolises friendship, gratitude, and the lasting connections that bind our Woodgrove family together. Joined by our beloved mascot Shimmer, these handmade gifts offer a warm embrace to our 2026 Primary 1 Woodgrovians. This heartfelt exchange from seniors to juniors weaves creativity, care, and legacy into a beautiful welcome for the P1 Woodgrovians.
Growing Together: Our P1s’ First Day
Our P1 Woodgrovians’ first day was filled with smiles, encouragement and
many firsts! With parents, teachers and student leaders supporting them
throughout, our P1 Woodgrovians were guided through registration, school
routines and fun learning moments with confidence and care. Each small
step helped our P1s grow in independence and settle happily into school
life.
A shout-out to our P1 parents & guardians for their strong partnership
as we journey together with our P1 Woodgrovians!
